𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝟭:𝟭𝟰-𝟭𝟴. „And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so. And God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.”

 

From the above text we can clearly see that God created sources of light and did not create sources of darkness. Similarly, God did not create death.

 

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝟭:𝟭𝟯. „God did not create us for death, and when we die, it doesn’t make him glad.”

 

Death is the negation of life, that is, it is directed against the action of the Creator. The one who led people to death is the devil.

 

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝟮:𝟮𝟯-𝟮𝟰. „God created us to live forever, just as he himself does. But death entered the world because the devil was jealous, and so all his followers die.”

 

Only those who belong to Satan will experience true death, which is non-existence. For God’s servants, death does not exist; we register it with our senses because we see the end of life and the dissolution of the human body. However, a person who is obedient to the Anointed One, as a soul, continues to exist.

 

𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝟭𝟬:𝟮𝟴. „And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.”

 

In our physical dimension, death is the complete end of existence, but in the spiritual dimension it is only a state of inactivity.

 

𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗲 𝟮𝟬:𝟯𝟴. „Now he is not God of the dead, but of the living, for all live to him.””

 

In order to end this state of inactivity, Yeshu, the Anointed One of God, came to earth and died for us. As a person without sin, he had the right to live forever. He died voluntarily in order to pass on his right to eternal life to his offspring, and since he left no offspring, he can adopt whomever he wants and in this way pass on to us the right to eternal life.

 

𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟭𝟮:𝟯𝟲. „While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.””

 

It is the same with evil. God did not create evil, it appears where good is missing. Turn off good and evil appears.

 

𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝟰:𝟭𝟳. „So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.”

 

𝟭 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟯:𝟴. „Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.”

 

One of the works of the devil is death. Our Lord Yeshu will eliminate death and by grace give life to those who believe in him. Why do we say by grace? Because he is not obligated to save anyone from death. He can give this gift to whomever he wants. It is therefore worth considering very carefully each word that our Lord said when he encouraged people to seek salvation. In these words of his is eternal life. However, they must be put into practice.

 

𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒍 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎?

 

Just as God did not create darkness and evil, he did not create the devil, because the word 𝙙𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙡 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙖 𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙧, and the word 𝙎𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙣 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙙𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙮, 𝙖𝙣 𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙢𝙮. God did not create a slanderer and an enemy. He created various beings, which we call spiritual, and each of them was given a specific task to perform. As independent beings (entities), they have free will. Free will distinguishes an independent being from a robot in a factory. Spiritual beings with their own opinions can do something good, and that is what they were called to do, or stop doing what is good and start doing evil. The first spiritual being to give up good was the spirit, which from now on we call Satan, because he opposed God, and the devil, because he misled people with his misunderstandings.

 

The next evil spiritual beings are spirits called „sons of God” who decided to establish their own race on earth. The Book of Genesis claims that their goal was to have sex with women, whom they considered beautiful. The result of this intercourse was children with extremely great strength and probably also superior intellect to humans. The „sons of God” together with their earthly descendants quickly impressed people and dominated the entire earth. The earth was polluted and the situation was so serious that there was no chance of improvement. God made the decision to destroy this not entirely earthly civilization.

 

So we have information about Satan, who deceived people, and about the „sons of God” who abandoned their good tasks and began to organize their own world. This was an act not only of rebellion, but also of taking over God’s property, that is, people together with the earth. They gave up doing good and chose to do evil. Everything they did from then on was clearly aimed at maintaining their position. The Scriptures say about this group of rebels that they were imprisoned and awaiting judgment.

 

𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝟭:𝟲. „And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day—”

 

Jude here calls them messengers (angels), but is he talking about these „sons of God” from the antediluvian times? This is indicated by the next verse, which compares their sin to that of the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah.

 

𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝟭:𝟳. „just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.”

 

The words from Jude are confirmed by:

 

𝟮 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟮:𝟰. „For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment;”

 

We know that some messengers (angels) left God’s work for sex on earth, but 𝙬𝙝𝙮 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙡 𝙜𝙤 𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙮? He didn’t start a family on earth, why did he decide to be evil? And where do demons come from if these rebellious angels from the pre-flood times are locked up in prison?

 

There are many questions that the Holy Scriptures do not answer directly and decisively. If they did, there would be no such questions or they would be different. The first issue that stirs emotions is whether the devil was created evil or did he become so? I have already written that he became so himself, but I did not provide biblical evidence, I only referred to logic, meanwhile there are people who claim that the devil was evil from the beginning of his existence and refer to biblical verses. It is worth knowing them so that someone does not surprise us with their sudden quotation.

 

𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟴:𝟰𝟰. „You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. 𝙃𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙢𝙪𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙝, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”

 

The words „he was a murderer from the beginning” are quoted by some as supposed proof that the devil was created as an evil angel. Meanwhile, these words only indicate that he is the one who started evil and in this sense from the very beginning he is the evil one. They also quote:

 

𝟭 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟯:𝟴. „Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.”

 

We also understand this text that since sin has existed, the devil has never stopped sinning, has not converted, and continues to sin. Against these texts we quote:

 

𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝟭:𝟯𝟭. „And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good.”

 

And the prophecy addressed to the king of Tyre has allegorical depth and some of the verses can be applied only to Tyre and some only to the spiritual being who was in the garden of Eden.

 

𝗘𝘇𝗲𝗸𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝟮𝟴:𝟭𝟯-𝟭𝟳. „𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙀𝙙𝙚𝙣, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, emerald, and carbuncle; and crafted in gold were your settings and your engravings. On the day that you were created they were prepared. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙜𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙪𝙗. I placed you; you were on the holy mountain of God; in the midst of the stones of fire you walked. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙗𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙, 𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙪𝙣𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪. In the abundance of your trade you were filled with violence in your midst, and you sinned; so I cast you as a profane thing from the mountain of God, and I destroyed you, O guardian cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙙 because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. 𝙄 𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙; I exposed you before kings, to feast their eyes on you.”

 

This prophecy incidentally reveals to us the way and reason for the devil’s descent into evil. He is not called an angel here, or a messenger announcing, but a cherub, or a guard and guardian. It is likely that the devil took his care of the city of Tyre, which is why this prophecy concerned Tyre and Satan at the same time. That states have spiritual guardians is evidenced by the statement of one of the angels to Daniel, when he explained why he could not come to him earlier:

 

𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝟭𝟬:𝟭𝟯. „But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.”

 

The quote above comes from the King James Bible, and the Septuagint translates the fragment of interest to us as follows:

 

𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝟭𝟬:𝟭𝟯. „But the prince of the kingdom of the Persians withstood me twenty-one days: and behold, Michael, one of the princes, came to help me; and I left him there with the chief of the kingdom of the Persians:”

 

The prophecy in the book of Ezekiel probably concerned the spiritual guardian of Tyre rather than the human king. This means that the devil was „𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙡 𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙝𝙞𝙢.” We have biblical evidence that the blameless cherub brought about his downfall through his haughtiness. The book of Sirach confirms that pride has such effects.

 

𝗕𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗿𝗮 𝟭𝟬:𝟭𝟮-𝟭𝟯. „The beginning of human pride is to forsake the Lord; the heart has withdrawn from its Maker. For the beginning of pride is sin, and the one who clings to it pours out abominations.”

 

Some manuscripts claim that „𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙨 𝙨𝙞𝙣” and some give as I quoted above. So we have evidence that the devil was not created, but brought about his own fall, but we still do not know where demons come from. If the rebellious angels were sent to prison where they are bound and awaiting judgment, then where on earth do demons come from. This subject still requires research.
