I am the way, and the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:6
Part 2 – Whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord will be saved!
I would like to thank you for all the likes, shares, and comments under the previously published video. It is very important for our channel to grow, as this allows us to reach even more people. In the name of our Lord Yeshu, thank you!
If you receive the gift of faith in the name of our Lord Yeshu, take the next step and contact me to be immersed in the name of Yeshu. You can find contact details on our website or simply write on Messenger.
In the last publication, we talked about the name of our Lord Yeshu. This is an absolutely crucial issue. The entire New Testament places great emphasis on the importance of the name of our Lord Yeshu—you can see this in many places and numerous verses. It is beyond me how religious leaders, various pastors and teachers who think they “know,” can completely overlook how much emphasis is placed on the Lord’s name. And yet they draw no conclusions and thoughtlessly change our Lord’s name—even if it is just in conversation in another language. Meanwhile—as we said a week ago—Christ bore this name by God’s command. Gabriel brought the name, and using this name was an act of obedience to God. Whoever did not want to use this name was rebelling—even if they tried to justify it in various ways. The fact remains: God gave the name, and someone changed it.
Last time we discussed five topics. To quickly recap:
• The name is “from above,” from heaven, not “national” or arbitrary. People do not choose it. This name was given.
• The Bible speaks of faith in the name. Through faith in the name, miracles happened—the name “worked” miracles, because it represents the Person.
• Salvation is in the name Yeshu. Not only in the Person Yeshu, but in His name—this is exactly what the verses say.
• Forgiveness of sins is for the sake of the name Yeshu. This connects with the previous point: without this name, there is no salvation.
• Calling on the name Yeshu is a condition for salvation. Prayer to Christ using this name is a condition for salvation.
Today we begin the sixth topic: IMMERSION IN THE NAME YESHU. I will read a few verses that speak about this unambiguously. Let’s turn to the Acts of the Apostles, because that is where we find what the apostles taught and how they acted, in whose name they immersed.
Acts 10:48: “And he commanded them to be immersed in the name of Yeshu Christ. Then they asked him to stay a few more days.” Note: he commanded them to be immersed in the name of Yeshu.
Acts 19:5: “When they heard this, they received immersion in the name of the Lord Yeshu.”
Acts 2:38: “Peter replied: Correct yourselves and let each of you be immersed in the name of Yeshu the Anointed One for the forgiveness of your transgressions, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Acts 22:16: “Why are you delaying now? Get up, immerse yourself, and wash away your transgressions, calling upon His name!”
Acts 8:12: “But when they believed Philip, who taught about the kingdom of God and about the name Yeshu Christ, both men and women received immersion.”
Acts 8:16: “For none of them had yet received it. They had only been immersed in the name of the Lord Yeshu.”
We see that in the Acts it is repeated many times and clearly: they were immersed in the name Yeshu. Not in “the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” There is only one verse that says so—and that verse has been falsified. On our website, there are articles on this subject, “A Closer Look at Mt 28:19 – A Study in Textual Criticism,” “In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit text analysis,” “Immersing them in my name Matthew 28:19,” “Internal evidence, that is, a test of truth,” in which I reveal; interestingly, many (though not all) Catholic and Protestant theologians admit that this is a later addition. There are older witnesses and quotations in which this formula simply does not occur. The passage from the Gospel of Matthew is sometimes quoted, but without the words “in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
This is also consistent with the practice of the apostles. If Christ had really commanded immersing „in the name of the Father and the Son, and the Holy Spirit,” the apostles would have obeyed. However, since we see immersing everywhere in the name of Yeshu, it means that this is what Christ taught, and the triadic formula is a later addition. That is why the Bible informs us that everyone was immersed in the name of Yeshu. The end. No other name—because only one name, not three names, brings salvation.
Acts 4:12: „And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people, by which we must be saved.”
And what about Matthew 28:19? In many translations it reads: „Baptize in the name of the Father and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.” Meanwhile, the correct wording is: „Go therefore and teach all nations, immersing them in My name.” This form is also found in the Hebrew version of the Gospel of Matthew: „in My name.” Let me remind you that according to ancient tradition, Matthew first wrote the Gospel in Hebrew (accounts and copies have survived), and only later in Greek. Who added the triadic formula to the Greek text—we do not know. It is not found in the Hebrew account, which among Judeans (Jews) has survived as a neutral testimony. Thus: „in My name,” that is, in the name of Christ, our Lord Yeshu, we should immerse.
Another group of verses shows that the disciples of Christ were to „serve the name” of Yeshu. It sounds unusual—serving the name—but that is exactly what Scripture says. Of course, it means serving the Lord Himself, and since the name represents Him, one speaks of the name as if of the Person.
Acts 15:25–26: „We have unanimously decided to choose men and send them with our dear ones: Barnabas and Paul, men who have risked their souls [lives] for the name of our Lord Yeshu the Anointed.” They risked their lives for the name of the Lord.
Acts 21:13: „Then Paul answered, 'What are you doing? Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only for imprisonment but even for death in Jerushalem for the name of the Lord Yeshu.'”
Acts 9:15–16: „The Lord said to him: 'Go, for I have chosen him as a vessel to carry My name to the nations, kings, and the sons of Israel.’ For I will show him how much he must suffer for My name.”
Note: not just „for Me,” but „for My name.” Christ’s enemies did not mind that someone believed in some Messiah—but they did not want that one name to be used. That is why Peter and John were forbidden to teach „in that name.” If they had changed it, perhaps they would have been left alone. But that name irritated them.
Matthew 18:20: „For where two or three are gathered in My name, there am I among them.”
Matthew 19:29: „Everyone who has left houses or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, {or wife}, or children, or fields for My name’s sake will receive a hundred times as much and inherit eon life.”
Our mission—like Paul’s, who was to bring that name to the nations—is exactly the same today: to bring the name Yeshu to the whole world. To people who think they believe in Christ, the name must be brought so that they can enter into a real relationship with Him—without self-deception and delusion. So that later they do not hear: „I never knew you,” even though they say: „Lord, but we prayed, we performed miracles.” That would be a tragedy. To prevent this, you—who know the name—have the duty to carry it. I am also involved in this.
Mark 9:37: „’Whoever receives one of these children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me does not receive Me, but the One who sent Me.'” Whoever receives „in My name”—that is, for the sake of the name—Christ identifies with receiving God Himself.
Romans 1:5: „Through whom we have received grace and apostleship for obedience of faith among all nations, concerning His name.” Because of His name.
Hebrews 6:10: „God is not unjust, so He will not forget your work and the love you have shown in His name by supporting the saints and serving them.”
So: we serve the name of our Lord Yeshu; we suffer for the name; for the sake of the name we make decisions and efforts.
Next point: the glory and praise of the name Yeshu. We do not worship Christ through statues—we honor Him through the name. Hence so many verses about the glory of the name.
2 Thessalonians 1:12: „That the name of our Lord, Yeshu Christ, may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Yeshu Christ.” The name is to be glorified.
Revelation 14:1: „Then I saw: and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads.” The sign of belonging—to whom we belong.
Revelation 15:4: „Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are Holy, for all nations will come and bow down before You, for Your righteous judgments have been revealed.” The fear of the Lord leads to honoring His name.
Look: with such great emphasis in Scripture on how important the name is, how could it be allowed to disappear or not know how it sounds? It cannot be said that it was allowed by people fervently serving Christ. It was the path of their own teachings and the influence of the spirit of this world—so as to lose the foundation: respect for Christ and His name, that is, for Christ through His name.
Hebrews 13:15: „Through Him, therefore, let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips confessing His name.” Confessing the name of our Lord Yeshu is a sacrifice—not of animals, but the fruit of our lips. We are not to be ashamed of the name, but to carry it with joy and speak of it, so that everyone knows what the true name of our Lord Yeshu is.
John 12:28: „Father, glorify Your name!” Then a voice came from heaven: „I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.” Here is the right direction: glory, honor, and praise—through the name.
Revelation 11:18: „And the nations were angry, and Your wrath has come and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and to give reward to Your servants the prophets and the saints, and to those who fear Your name, small and great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.” Notice: to those who fear Your name.
Some passages of Scripture may seem more difficult, but today we are not doing a philological analysis—today, through a series of verses, we are emphasizing how great the significance of the name is. Not only the Person themselves, but the Person who bears the name.
Philippians 2:9–10: „Therefore God also highly exalted Him and gave Him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Yeshu every knee should bow, in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. And every tongue should confess that the Anointed Yeshu is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
That is one of the strongest verses, isn’t it? Every knee will bow at the sound of that name. God gave Him a name above all. Thus, the claim that it can be declined or substituted at will, because in different languages people have similar names, is absurd—it’s as if to say that Christ is equal to an ordinary person. No—Christ is higher, more worthy, deserves more. His name is the most important, for it is the only name by which we can be saved. That’s why at the sound of this name every creature will bow the knee.
Hebrews 1:4: „So much more powerful has He become than the Messengers, as much as He inherited a name different from theirs.”
This name—the first, the only one—exalts Him. That is why it cannot be substituted, because we do not even know what other forms mean. I have already given the example: that „Jehowach” means destroyer–confuser—and Jehovah’s Witnesses got caught up in this. They meant well, but it turned out badly. Today they don’t know how to get out of it—and what do they do? They disregard it, say: it doesn’t matter; or pretend that the name means something else, insisting against the facts. Similarly with „Jesus”—many point out that it is a distorted form related to Zeus. And every name belongs to some spirit. Christ has one name—from the Father. And Scripture also shows that He will receive a new name when He fulfills the role of Savior; the Father may change it for Him, and will change it. For now, however, this one name is key, for it leads to salvation.
Alright, We have just had a series of verses about the glory and praise of the name Yeshu. Let me remind you: “that the name of the Lord may be glorified.” These are the kinds of verses we read. Although this sounds foreign to many, we praise the name of the Lord – according to the teaching of the apostles.
The ninth group of verses concerns: “persecution for the sake of the name Yeshu.”
1 Peter 4:14: “If you are insulted for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of Glory and the Spirit of God rests on you; who, as far as they are concerned, is blasphemed, but as far as you are concerned, is glorified.” We know that others blaspheme the name of our Lord Yeshu, and we, in this name of our Lord Yeshu, praise Him – exactly in this name, in which others blaspheme.
Revelation 2:3 The Lord says to one of the churches: “You have perseverance: and have endured suffering for my name – unwavering.” This is praise: you have endured suffering for the name of our Lord Yeshu, for the sake of that name.
Revelation 2:13: “I know where you dwell: there, where the throne of the slanderer (Satan) is, yet you hold fast my name and have not denied my faith…” Notice: some time passes, hundreds of years go by – and it can no longer be said of Christians that they hold fast the name of our Lord Yeshu, because everyone came up with different names; some stumbled upon it by chance, but most had nothing to do with the true name.
Revelation 3:8: “I know your works. Behold, I have given before you an open door as a gift, which no one can shut, because you, although your strength is small, have kept my word and have not denied my name.” And how is it today? Of many Christians it cannot be said that they have not denied the name of the Lord – because they invented another for themselves. The name of our Lord has been treated very lightly, simply disregarded.
It must be admitted that in the Middle Ages there was a moment when certain clergy noticed the importance of the name. Churches were even built “for the name.” The problem was that they did not know the true pronunciation – they pronounced it incorrectly. They were not able to determine what the true name was, as we have established it today. Nevertheless, they noticed that the name is key – there was a glimmer.
Acts 21:13: “Then Paul answered: ‘What are you doing? Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be imprisoned, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Yeshu.’”
Acts 4:17–18: “But so that this does not spread any further among the people, we will lay it upon them as a condition, that they no longer speak to anyone in this name. They called them in and strictly forbade them to speak or teach in the name Yeshu.” Of course, we know what they answered: “Whether in God’s eyes it is right to listen to you rather than to God, judge for yourselves.” They knew that the Apostles had to proclaim that name – that was their task. They knew that all glory was to be directed to Christ through that name, not through any other. Everyone associated that name with the One they had killed; they also knew about the miracles done in that name. They faced a dilemma: the miracle had become obvious, but they wanted to forbid proclaiming that it was “in that name.” Today, many would not object to other names.
Acts 5:28: “‘We strictly commanded you not to teach in this name, and look, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and you want to bring this Man’s blood upon us?’” And again: one must obey God rather than humans. Note: they say “one must obey God,” so who gave the command to proclaim the name? Was it not the One whose name is Yeshu? Many do not want to acknowledge Christ’s divine status, though it is clear that He is God by the will of the Father – not of Himself, but by the will of the Father, to represent Him. The Father gave Him such a prerogative.
Acts 5:40–41: “And after summoning the Envoys, they had them flogged and ordered them not to speak in the name of Yeshu, and then released them. And they left the Sanhedrin rejoicing that they were considered worthy to suffer for the name of Yeshu.” We see: they suffered for the name, they proclaimed the name – everything revolved around the name.
Acts 9:15: “But the Lord said to him: ‘Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to carry My name before nations, and also kings, and also the sons of Israel.’” Persecutions happened because of the name, and the apostles suffered for the name – to keep proclaiming it. They faced insults, flogging, sometimes death.
John 15:21: “But all these things they will do to you for my name’s sake, because they do not know the One who sent Me.” They did not realize that Christ was sent by God, and so they persecuted Him and those who proclaimed that He is the Messiah, the Savior.
Luke 21:12: “But before all this, they will lay hands on you and persecute you. They will deliver you to synagogues and prisons, and for my name’s sake drag you before kings and governors. This will be an opportunity for you to bear witness.”
Luke 21:17: “And you will be hated by all because of my name.” – because of the name Yeshu, not because of YHWH or any other, but because of that name. Today, oddly, even Christians look askance at those who speak about the true name of our Lord Yeshu – and accuse them of sowing division rather than unity. But we have nothing against unity – but in the name of Yeshu, not any other.
Similar words are found in Mark 13:13: “And you will be hated by all because of my name. But whoever endures to the end will be saved.”
The same in Matthew 10:22: “You will be hated by all because of my name. But whoever endures to the end will be saved.”
Matthew 24:9: “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of my name.” So we see the last group: there will be persecutions because of the name of our Lord Yeshu. Not because of the sabbath – as Adventists often say – not because of YHWH, but because of the name of our Lord Yeshu. This is the reason why we were, are, and will be persecuted until the end. That is why we must endure in service and keep that name – not renounce it.
The second-to-last group of thoughts: the Antichrist in his own name.
Luke 21:8: “Yeshu answered, ‘Beware that you are not misled. For many will come in my name and say, “I am” and, “The time has come.” Do not follow them!’”
Mark 13:6: “For many will come in my name, claiming that I am. And they will mislead many.”
Matthew 24:5: “For many will come in my name and say: I am the Anointed One. And they will mislead many.”
Matthew 7:22–23: “Many will say to Me on that day: ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name do many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
And further, verse 24 the parable of the house on the rock: “whoever listens to these words of mine and puts them into practice can be compared to a wise person…”. The teaching about the name of our Lord Yeshu is part of the teaching of Christ and the apostles. People who take it seriously are wise. Fools will disregard it – despite so many verses. It will not matter to them, because it would require changes in their lives, and they do not want anything to change.
There is yet another group that thinks: for the sake of Your name.
Luke 10:17: “The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, ‘Lord, even evil spirits submit to us in Your name.’” Notice: Christ was not physically with them – they acted in His name. And demons obeyed because of the name.
Mark 9:38-39: “Then John said to Him, ‘Teacher, we saw someone who does not walk with us casting out evil spirits in Your name, and we forbade them, because they did not walk with us.’ But Yeshu replied, ‘Do not forbid them, for no one who works miracles in my name will soon be able to speak evil of Me.’” We see that the power of the name Yeshu works even when the instrument is outside our circle – as long as it is in truth and without lawlessness. This name is a shield, a seal, and a key. Therefore, let us guard it, carry it with reverence, profess it with faith, proclaim it without compromise, and not be ashamed to suffer for the name of our Lord Yeshu. For whoever endures to the end – in this name – will be saved.
The key here is that even someone who did not walk directly with the disciples but had such strong faith that in the name of Yeshu drove out demons, acted by the power of the Holy Spirit. So look: who actually cast out the demons? Of course, the Holy Spirit. Such a person would not be able to curse Christ or attack Him, because they had been authorized by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, the apostles, in wanting to forbid them, went a step too far. It’s not about the conclusion that supposedly one can be a Christian without holding to the teaching — because some people read it mistakenly this way. The most important thing is not whether you are “together” or “separate,” but whether the Holy Spirit truly guides you. That is the essence. In that case, it was clearly visible, because miracles were happening in that name. Today, almost everyone claims to have the Holy Spirit, although often their lives and teaching contradict this. Just as back then miracles were the proof of the Spirit’s activity, so today — even if not necessarily miracles — then certainly teaching that is consistent with Scripture and true knowledge of Christ by name, and not the worship of some Jesus or Jezus. So, if someone worships in different name, to me that is a sign that they have nothing to do with Christ and the Holy Spirit, no matter what they claim — even about miracles, of which there are many false ones today. Besides, the Bible foretold false signs.
Acts 19:13-16: “Then some of the wandering Jewish exorcists tried to invoke over those with evil spirits the name Yeshu, saying: I adjure you by Yeshu, whom Paul proclaims. This was done by seven sons of a certain Sceva, a Jewish chief priest. The evil spirit answered them, ‘I know Yeshu and I know about Paul, but who are you?’ And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered all of them, and beat them so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.” This is an example that I call “an unauthorized attempt to use the name Yeshu.” It shows that it is not about the sound of the name as a magical formula. What matters is the action of the Holy Spirit, who either responds when we call on the name of our Lord Yeshu and turns toward our prayers, or not. When He acts — we are under the protection of Christ, the Holy Spirit, and His angels; when not — we do not have that protection. Treating the name as a magic spell is a mistake. In ancient traditions, including the Jewish one, there were stories about the power of spells and incantations — but that is not what this is about. The conclusion? For miracles to happen in the name Yeshu and for prayers to be heard, several conditions must be met — one of them is the real protection and approval of Lord Yeshu. Those who treated the name like a spell, they did not have immersion in the name of Yeshu nor His authorization. This does not mean that everyone who is immersed immediately works miracles. We remember Simon the Magus: he believed, received immersion, and yet did not have the power to impart the Spirit and tried to buy it. He proved himself unworthy, and later deceived Samaria and—as sources state—promoted teachings that inspired later Gnosticism.
Someone accused me of being untrue in saying that the Gnostics invented the “trinity.” Meanwhile, there are studies in which theologians admit that the term “trinity” first appeared among the Gnostics, long before it was used by Christians. It is justified by saying that the Gnostics merely stumbled upon a word expressing the truth about God—but the fact remains that the doctrine of the “trinity” itself spread in Christianity from Gnostic circles and is, unfortunately, false. Equally false is the name “Jesus” as well as the teaching that Christ is equal to God the Father. That is a different Christ than the one who lived, taught, and gave his life—and a different Christ is an antichrist.
Acts 4:30: “When You stretch out your hand to heal and to perform signs and wonders through the name of Your holy Servant, Yeshu.” This is interesting also in the context of debates about the “trinity”: here Christ is called a Servant. Many pass by this without thought, though it’s part of the disciples’ prayer to God: “And now, Lord, look at their threats and grant your servants to proclaim your word with all boldness, as You stretch out Your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of Your holy Servant, Yeshu.” When the apostles worked miracles in the name of Yeshu, in reality it was God performing them—through the Holy Spirit. The name itself is not a magic formula; it is God who authorizes this name and emphasizes its significance. When someone accuses us of “overemphasizing” the name, we answer: we give it the same meaning that Scripture does. We know that in the future Christ will also reveal a new name, but while He has the present one and wishes us to honor Him by it—we do so. Praising the Son and His name, we praise the Father, because God decided to receive glory through His Son. Yeshu Himself prays: “Keep them in the name You have given Me”—(this name does not come from Mariam or Joseph, but from the Father), in this sense, “all that is mine is Yours”—the glory of the Father also resounds through the name of the Son. Previously the Father was known as the Savior and as God; now Christ reveals Himself to us as God by the will of the Father, though not equal to the Father, and as Savior. Does this diminish the Father? No—He acts through Christ. Christ is an “extension” of God’s hand and does everything for the glory of the Father.
There really are very many verses about the name of the Lord Yeshu—you will not even remember half of what was said today. In John’s writings it is said that the will of the Father consists of two things: that we love each other and believe in the name of our Lord Yeshu. There are also verses saying that those who do not believe in the name of the Lord Yeshu will be punished, and those who do will be saved. Satan cleverly blinds minds—many do not see this.
The use of incorrect names is a tool of deception. Why do various versions appear at all? To divert us from the Truth. Meanwhile, Scripture teaches clearly: “And there is no salvation in anyone else, nor is there given to people under heaven any other name by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12). Notice: “one name,” “under heaven,” “all people.” The use of other names is inconsistent with Scripture. So what should you do? Study the topic. Check what name the apostles preached. Today we say that the name of Christ is important; at upcoming meetings I will show technical evidence why this is the true name. There will be tables, Hebrew and Greek letters, comparisons of records. You will see that the message is consistent. We will discuss each variant of the name in turn.
Thanks for listening until the end. I would be extremely grateful for likes, shares and comments, because it helps grow the channel, which gives a chance to reach even more people.
