If you have been following me regularly for years, or even for just a few months, you know whom I claim the beast is. Let’s start with a brief recap of what we discussed last week, namely the beast. I encourage you to analyze the illustrations—they are symbolic, but quite accurate.

On the first slide, at the top, you see various animals: a goat, a lion, and others. In biblical prophecies, animals often symbolize something. Most frequently, they represent military or state powers, behind which—as we know from the Book of Daniel—stand spiritual entities. Importantly, in many visions, a particular power is depicted not as a single animal but as a new creation—a hybrid, a mixture of various traits. That’s why we speak of beasts, not simply animals. These images always have an aggressive character—the exception being the lamb, which symbolizes Christ. The beast we are talking about combines elements of a leopard, lion, and bear—it is a composite of many features.

And now, the key verse: Revelation 17:8. „The beast which you saw, was, and is not, is about to come up out of the Abyss, and is headed for destruction. And the inhabitants of the earth, whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, will be astonished when they see the beast, that it was and is not, but will come.”

In a single verse, there is an incredible amount of information here. I am surprised that different religions develop such odd theories about this—as if they aren’t analyzing the text carefully. For example, Jehovah’s Witnesses claim that this beast is the UN. How do they explain this passage? They say: „was” – meaning the League of Nations; „is not” – during World War II; „will be again” – the UN after the war. That interpretation is completely out of context. In the same way, you could stretch the concept to fit other political entities. Poland used to exist, disappeared under partitions, then was reborn—so what? But such examples do not meet all the conditions of the text.

The Apostle John does not write that this beast will one day exist, then disappear, and later return. He says it already was. At the moment when John is writing this, the beast does not exist—but it is supposed to come again. That’s a crucial difference: we are looking from John’s time perspective, not our own. This radically narrows the spectrum of possibilities, because few political or supranational entities existed before John, then vanished, and were to appear again. And here—what I’ve been proclaiming for at least thirteen years—we identify this entity as Israel, though I distinguish between Israel and Iszrael. I deliberately use „Iszrael” for the true one, and „Israel” for the false one. Similarly, I make a distinction between true Judeans, and call the false ones Israelites or Jews.

The key to the puzzle is simple: „was”—which means it existed before John; „is not”—at the time of writing Revelation it had disappeared (about 30 years earlier); „is to come”—it will be resurrected. What is this entity? It is the kingdom of Judea—a false kingdom from God’s perspective. It was not the kingdom from the throne of David, it was not the kingdom of Iszrael established by God, but an artificial political creation. That’s why it is called the beast—an artificial entity. God was not the head of this entity. Nor was Herod truly the head, even though he formally bore the title of king. The real head at that time was Rome.

Theoretically, the „kingdom of Judea” functioned, it had its king, but the real power was exercised by the Romans. In the year 66 CE, a revolt broke out, ending four years later. Even though King Herod sided with Rome, the Empire never allowed that beast to be rebuilt again—they did not permit its further existence. The false kingdom of Judea/Israel ceased to exist. It was; by the time John writes—it’s already gone; yet it is to come again. And it comes in 1948, when the state of Israel is officially established.

This political entity remains artificial—because no one from the house of David sits on its throne—and, as before, its head lies outside itself. Back then the head was Rome; today it is the United States, or more precisely: the Anglo-American dual power. Interestingly, England previously resisted and hindered the formation of the state, but later gave up the territory and agreed. So we see that today’s Israel is a political creation, dependent on an external head – it was, it wasn’t, and now it is again – just as it appears from the perspective of the Apostle John’s times, who wrote that in his days the beast did not exist. This is a very strong argument that the beast meets the conditions of the prophecy. The League of Nations and the UN cannot be fit into this scheme, because they did not exist before John, only to then disappear and be reborn. Similarly, many other entities do not fit. Also, let’s not mix the Vatican into this – it didn’t exist at that time. I hope that is clear.

And now a curiosity that makes it easier to understand why the kingdom of Judah was a false Israel. King Herod was not only not a descendant of David – he wasn’t even an Israelite at all. He was an Edomite. A subject who became the master. Why „subject”? Because 127 years before Christ, Israel defeated the Edomites and gave them a tough ultimatum. The Catholic Church would later use a similar method when „converting” pagans, that is, „either baptism or death.” In this case it was: „either the foreskin or your head.” In other words: either you get circumcised and convert to Judaism, or we behead you.

The Edomites merged with this nation – and in the times of Christ, there was already a mix. It was not a „pure” Israel – there was an admixture. To this day, that admixture is even greater. Those descendants of the true Israel – even already mixed with the Edomites – today are „fifth water after jelly” (i.e., extremely distant relatives). And in Israel today that’s barely about 7% of the population… The rest are Khazar Jews.

Let’s begin with the key issue that runs throughout this story: in the Bible, the identity of God’s people is defined not just in the language of genealogy, but above all in the language of covenant, faithfulness, and promise. This is important, especially when we remember that many rulers of ancient Judea – such as Herod, a descendant of the Idumeans – were not directly descended from the line of Jacob or from the tribe of Judah. History also knows many examples of proselytes, that is, people from outside Israel who adopted Judaism. Over time, such families naturally became part of the Jewish community. That does not make them descendants of Abraham or entitle them to call themselves the „chosen people,” as they have nothing in common with that nation. And simply practicing Judaism also does not matter, since this is a completely apostate Judaism, having nothing to do with God and His covenant. Today’s Judaism arose on the foundation of killing the Messiah, which led to the derailing of this nation, and, using biblical terminology, to cutting off those branches and throwing them into the fire. So we can speak of followers of Judaism, but not of descendants of Abraham.

From a biblical perspective, the right to royal authority in Israel is tied to the promise given to the House of David. Christians understand this in a Christological sense: the Messiah from the line of David – Yeshu of Nazareth – is the fulfillment of this promise. In that sense, Herod, though he politically ruled Judea, was not a ruler legitimized by the messianic line. Theologically, this means that the enduring restoration of Israel’s royal dignity comes through the Messiah. When we talk about modern leaders and statehood, we enter the area of international law and politics, which operate by a different logic, since they originate from Satan.

After the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD, and then after the Bar Kochba revolt, a profound transformation occurred. Many Judeans scattered around the world, which gave rise to the development of rabbinic Judaism, which created a new religion in the absence of the Temple. At the same time, Christianity was quickly spreading, attracting both Judeans and people from other nations. In the following centuries, some descendants of ancient Israel also adopted Islam, especially in areas conquered by Muslim states. The identity of Israel as a religion – survived: though it was a new tradition, new texts, new languages, new customs, and new law. Thanks to this new religious formation, the community maintained its sense of distinctness and uniqueness, even if it was geographically dispersed. They always possessed a central governing body, a kind of hybridized Sanhedrin.

The biblical concept of the „lost ten tribes of Israel” is also known—a concept rooted in the history of the split between the Kingdom of Judah and the Kingdom of Israel. Through the prophets, God announces a „certificate of divorce” to describe the effect of abandoning faithfulness to the covenant: dispersion and assimilation. This „certificate” is the cutting off of dead branches and a place for grafting in people from the nations. The New Testament parable of the noble olive tree (Romans 11) develops this further: the broken branches and grafted shoots from the nations indicate that God’s plan includes the „remnant of Israel” and people from the nations. From this perspective, „Israel” ceases to be a solely ethnic concept and becomes the reality of a new covenant—a community growing from the root of the patriarchs, in which faithfulness and belief in the Messiah Jeshu determine identity more deeply than lineage.

That is why, in the ancient Assembly of Christ’s followers, the theme of the „end times” resounded so strongly. The apostles spoke of the „end” understood as a breakthrough in history: the transition from worship centered around the Temple to worship „in Spirit and in truth.” The salvation of the „remnant” of Israel and the joining of people from the nations was interpreted as the fulfillment of promises. The „other sheep” spoken of by Yeshu, together with Israel, form one flock—a new people of God. This understanding is not about negating the history of Israel, but about completing the story: branches growing from one root, nourished together by the sap of promise, become a representation of unity in Christ. That is why the followers of Yeshu await the return of the Ruler-Messiah—not as a rival of Israel but as the legitimate King in whom the promises given to Abraham for the blessing of all nations are fulfilled.

The Book of Revelation, chapter 13, presents a vision of the Beast with seven heads—a symbol-laden image. One of the heads is „as if fatally wounded,” but its wound is healed. The ”coming up from the abyss” amplifies the impression of a dramatic resurgence of forces that seemed subdued. The abyss—deeper than Sheol, a place of spiritual torment—also appears in the Gospels when demons fear being sent „into the abyss.” They know that is where they will ultimately end up, but they also know that the time has not come yet. Now, however, the beast has been cast into the abyss. This may mean that the spirit directing this beast—previously active, for example, through King Herod and potentially intended to play a role in the formation of the „New Israel”—has ended up in the abyss in the literal sense.

What is characteristic of this beast is that it will declare war on the saints and achieve what Great Babylon, also called the Great Harlot, did not accomplish. In other words, it will obtain real world power. For a long time we have seen the efforts of Great Babylon to establish global rule—hence the UN, WHO, and other institutions trying to impose their will on the whole world. They do not succeed, but the beast—according to prophecy—will. The beast will establish its own world order, whose hallmark will be that all who do not pay it homage will be pushed to the margins of social and economic life.

Revelation 13:16–17 says: „And it causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark of the name of the Beast or the number of its name.”

Note that receiving the mark is related to the name of the beast. This is very significant because in the Bible, names play a huge role. Many do not realize this. Just as accepting the name of our Lord Yeshu is crucial, conversely—accepting the name of the Beast means belonging to it. Depending on whose name you accept, you belong to that spiritual authority—you become it’s property.

From this perspective, worship of the beast can be understood as support for the state of Israel—its authority and system. Perhaps this refers to the financial or banking sphere—we do not know this today, but precisely this kind of favor could become a condition for „normal” functioning.Whoever does not support the state of Israel may lose fundamental economic rights. Power over all nations, peoples, and languages would then be exercised through legal and financial pressure. This does not have to immediately mean the sword, a knife to the throat, or blazing furnaces as in Babylon. More likely are gradual steps—growing restrictions and incentives which, in the end, will force compliance.

We saw a foretaste of such an approach during the pandemic. That mechanism was tested rather by the Great Harlot than the beast, but the pattern was similar: without meeting certain „conditions,” you couldn’t travel or board an airplane. Many people made decisions they originally did not want to make just to regain ordinary privileges—even something as simple as a vacation trip. The motivations varied, some more or less understandable, but compared to what the beast is foreshadowing, these were only preludes. Revelation makes it clear: you will not be able to buy or sell without its mark. This leads to the conclusion that access to money and financial infrastructure will become key.

What kind of money that will be—we do not know today. But we do know that even now accounts can be blocked, and most funds are digital. When you want to deposit a larger amount—they ask for the source. When you want to withdraw—they ask why you need so much. Increasingly, large cash purchases are not allowed—transfers are required. All of this serves the creation of a control infrastructure. As time goes by, the noose tightens and the list of restrictions grows. All it takes is to not pay homage to the right symbol, to refuse the mark, or—perhaps—to not renounce Christ and not accept the antichrist. In such a situation, your funds can disappear or be frozen.

This is not just theory. Canadians who protested against senseless restrictions experienced financial blockades. This applied not only to the protesters, but also to some supporters. It turned out that the state, if it wants to, can do a lot. There were also property seizures—not only during wars but also in the „saving the banks” crisis, when some citizens bore the costs even though, formally, it was their property. The mechanisms have already been tested, and people, step by step, grow used to them.

That’s exactly how you „boil a frog”: gradually. Unfortunately, we are the frog, which is why we should be vigilant. As an illustration of growing pressure to support the beast, I’ll recall a case from 2017. In Texas, after Hurricane Harvey, there were financial aid forms in which residents of the town of Dickinson had to declare that they would not boycott Israel. This is not yet the mark of the beast, but already a condition: you don’t support—you don’t get the funds. In May 2017, a state law was introduced banning public funds from going to companies that boycott Israel. Governor Greg Abbott stated then that „anti-Israel policies are anti-Texan policies”—as if Texas were part of Israel. Practices like these are already appearing and may intensify.

Let’s highlight: we’re talking about a situation from years ago—we don’t know what it looks like today. Usually, however, similar regulations don’t disappear, but rather expand. In the future, this could mean losing a trading license or simply not having access to money. The goal? Systematic elimination from the market of anyone who does not have the „name of the beast.” What was a test in Texas could become tomorrow’s standard—removing from circulation entities considered „antisemitic” only because they do not support the actions of a particular state. What does Texas have to do with Israel? Seemingly very little, and yet people everywhere are expected to conform to this agenda.

In this context, it is worth recalling the „Little Horn” from the Book of Daniel (7:8), which had a mouth speaking great things and grew slowly. For a long time, Israel did not exist, and then—among others—it began to grow until it took the place of three it had uprooted. As for „arrogant words”—some citizens of Israel commit blasphemy against the name of the Lord Yeshu, and at the level of public narrative, a sense of particular privilege can be felt. The following quote is often cited: „Our race is the master race, we are divine gods. On this planet, other races are beasts and animals, cattle at best. The masses will lick our feet and serve us as our slaves.” These words, attributed in some sources to a speech in the Knesset (according to Amnon Kapeliouk), can be attempted to be verified in available materials. Even if such statements are publicly condemned and treated as extreme, they reveal a certain way of thinking—a pride akin to that described in prophecies about the beast.

What is most disturbing, however, is not so much the act of elevating oneself above people—which in itself is racism and must be condemned—but the attempt to elevate oneself above God. It is worth remembering that the state of Israel was established largely on secular foundations, often hostile to religion. Later on, however, it was discovered that references to Judaism and the Old Testament could serve as useful legitimization—strengthening its image and claims to the land. In this respect, Judaism becomes a tool of politics, and this process is also supported by Christians who, guided by a mistaken interpretation of biblical texts about Israel, legitimize the actions of the modern state, as if it were identical with the people faithful to God. All of this is a rather transparent strategy.

This instrumentalization of religion brings to mind the second beast, „having horns like a lamb, but speaking like a dragon”– a figure many interpret as the Antichrist. It is this second beast that is supposed to “validate” the first and perform miracles on its behalf. In practice, elements of Judaism and Christianity today become such validating agents when they are used to legitimize political actions. The problem is that some Christians read prophecies about Israel as if they automatically refer to the secular state – and in doing so, ascribe it a divine mandate. And if, according to this interpretation, we are dealing with a nation that still serves forces opposed to God, then such a reading of Scripture leads astray: it calls good evil and evil good.

As we have already said, pride, boastfulness, putting oneself above others, and contempt for what is holy can take hold of the hearts of entire communities. Often, the majority follows such a spirit, not noticing the contradictions in attitudes and declarations. In this context, the image from Revelation 13:11 stands out. „Then I saw another beast rising out of the earth; it had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.” Many interpret this figure as representing a false messiah or a religious authority that outwardly imitates holiness but in essence betrays a different spirit.

Horns resembling those of the Lamb suggest an appearance of gentleness and sanctity, but the voice of the Dragon reveals the real source of inspiration. „Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” – Scripture reminds us; thus, the heart may belong to darkness even when everything on the outside appears devout. This Beast „exercises all the authority of the first Beast and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship” (Revelation 13:12). Many commentators see here a religious component: an institution or movement that gives a political power a quasi-theological sanction. This is a warning against a system that uses the language of faith to reinforce domination, instead of serving truth and love.

The problem arises when someone appeals to the authority of God to legitimize their claims, while at the same time rejecting God in practice – even when verbally declaring atheism. This is internally inconsistent: if we do not acknowledge the source of revelation, we cannot selectively refer to revealed law only when „it suits us.” This lack of consistency is often invisible to many, because the appearance of piety and the power of rhetoric can obscure contradictions. Hence, the image of the horns of the Lamb (appearance) and the voice of the Dragon (essence) is so poignant.

Faced with this tension, abuses are easy to come by. Some religious circles, instead of humble service to truth, are able to legitimize any authority if it brings them benefit or prestige. Programs, trainings, pilgrimages, congresses – all these can become tools for building authority and influence when, instead of leading to God, they start to serve earthly goals. Then, a “second Beast” arises in a structural sense: a promotion mechanism that dresses secular pursuits in religious costume, persuading that selection and mission are inalienable even when the practice has long since strayed from the path.

Phrases about the „iron rod” and „ruling with a firm hand” also appear, appropriated from Scripture (cf. Psalm 2:9), and in essence referring to the Messiah. Revelation reminds us that it is Christ who will „shepherd the nations with an iron rod” and that His chosen will reign with Him – but in the spirit of justice, not brutal violence. The false prophet, in contrast, „orders an image of the Beast to be made”, “the image speaks,” and “causes that whoever does not worship it will be killed” (Revelation 13:14-15). This is a classic mechanism: invoking sacred authority to justify ruthlessness against disobedient people, and presenting severity as „the will of God.” Let us not be deceived. This is not service to the Word, but the instrumentalization of the Word.

And it works great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in the sight of the people” (Revelation 13:13). Miracles and signs can be false—their role is to give credibility to the false kingdom in the eyes of the inhabitants of the earth. The outward splendor is meant to lead to total obedience to the reborn structures of power under the direction of the Antichrist. That is why it is important, even now—before the illusions and spectacle deceive many—to learn discernment and to warn others. When we warn today, it will be easier for them to recognize the mechanisms tomorrow. When the phenomena arrive, those who warn are often accused of ill will; but if we speak in advance and consistently, it becomes clearer that it is a matter of care and faithfulness to the Truth, and above all, that we have a credible source of information.

Ultimately, Revelation foretells a confrontation: „And I saw the Beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the One sitting on the horse and against His army” (Revelation 19:19). This is not so much a clash of military powers, as it is a revelation of a spiritual conflict: systems usurping dominion against the Legitimate Ruler. This shows that the root cause is rebellion—the rejection of messianic rule. The logic of faith says: when the King comes, we recognize Him and submit to His reign. The logic of rebellion, on the other hand, responds with resistance and an attempt to defend its own, illegal dominance. That is why we must be alert not to become a cog in the mechanisms that, in practice, fight against the gentle yoke of Christ.

Scripture is clear about the end of godless structures: „And the Beast was seized, and along with him the False Prophet… both were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning with sulfur” (Revelation 19:20). In the hour of trial, it may seem that the system is invincible and it is more reasonable to bend in order to „have some peace.” History recalls such moments—occupations, totalitarian regimes, when tyranny seemed eternal. Some chose to cooperate, calculating that „this will last forever.” Yet all temporal dictatorships collapse. In reference to the Beast, it is not human strength that decides the matter, but the coming of King Yeshu. The One who holds full authority comes from heaven. His armies come in power to conquer: the word of the One who is Truth is sufficient. Therefore, however threatening the system may be, in the end it stands no chance.

In this struggle, one’s personal stance is important: not to accept the „mark of the Beast,” meaning not to enter into the logic that legitimizes lies, violence, and idolatry. Victory belongs to the Lamb, and the promise is: „To the victor I will give authority over the nations; they will rule them with an iron rod—as clay vessels they will be shattered” (see Revelation 2). Modern powers—with their apparatus of coercion and propaganda—seem unshakable, yet at the moment of truth they will shatter like fragile ceramics, if they are founded on lies and stand against the Authority of the Son of God.

Christ’s plan remains coherent: He came to redeem people from the slavery of sin and the burden of law understood legalistically; He purchased us with His blood; He ascended to heaven to prepare the fullness of Authority; and He will return to assume the reign.

Marana tha—come, Lord Yeshu!

To summarize:

Let us recognize the divide between a pious facade and „the voice of the Dragon.”

Let us not be manipulated by the rhetoric of „holy necessity.”

Let us remember that signs and wonders do not always testify to the truth—what matters is fruit and conformity with the teachings of Christ.

Let us not succumb to fatalism: ultimate victory belongs to the Lamb.

Let us maintain respect for persons and nations; we fight against mechanisms of lies, not against people.

The false kingdom is doomed to failure, and true authority belongs to the One who is Faithful and True. Our responsibility is to remain faithful to a conscience enlightened by the Word—without violence, without hatred, with courage and humility. If we persevere, we will hear: „To the victor I will give…” May we be among those who have kept their hearts pure and have not accepted the mark of the system that worships itself. Then even the most overwhelming powers will prove fragile, and the Kingdom of the Lamb—the greatest Power.
