The prophet Nahum paints before our eyes a picture of the Creator who commands mighty respect and fills the soul with holy awe! 📜 In just a few sentences, he reveals a truth about the Most High that today’s world avoids like the plague. ⚡ This is not a helpless observer behind the clouds, but a mighty Warrior who, with fervent, bridegroom-like love, stands in defense of His people! The human concept of justice is flawed, but God does not pass indifferently by injustice. His wrath has nothing to do with a chaotic outburst of anger – it is an absolutely pure, determined response to evil, aimed at destroying oppression and saving the weak. 🛡️ Notice this brilliant contrast in the Father’s nature: on one hand, He is characterized by a mighty “long breath” and incomprehensible patience, giving a chance for repentance; on the other hand, He will ultimately hold accountable everyone who persists in arrogance. When He steps into action, the most powerful elements and world empires are to Him merely like a handful of dust kicked up during a walk! 🌪️
This stunning majesty from the Old Covenant finds its ultimate climax in the person of our Lord, Yeshu! 👑 Have you ever wondered how the Holy Judge can refuse to turn a blind eye to human guilt, yet at the same time save us from punishment? The answer is what happened at Golgotha. It was there that Yeshu willingly took upon Himself the entire weight of the sentence for our rebellious lives, becoming the shield that takes the blow. Justice was served, so that mercy could throw the doors wide open for us! 🩸 The same Ruler, for whom gigantic storms are merely a path under His feet, calmed the gale on the lake with a single word, proving that He has full authority over every chaos. 🌊 Handing Him the helm means that in the face of life’s worst hurricanes and attacks of darkness, you never stand alone. You have on your side the One before whom the heavens tremble, yet who can carry you on His shoulders with incredible tenderness!

How do you react in moments when you face glaring injustice, and the toxic people around you seem to be winning? ⚖️ Do you let yourself be carried away by panic and the desire to settle the score yourself, or can you trustingly place this matter into the hands of God, who “will not leave the guilty unpunished”? 🏔️ Take a close look, too, at the storms currently rolling through your life. Instead of fixing your eyes on the terrifying, dark clouds of problems, remember today’s verse – they are merely dust beneath the feet of your God! ⛵ Do you believe that Yeshu is the Lord of your storm? Come to Him today with complete honesty: “Lord Yeshu, You know how much injustice hurts and how the loss of control terrifies me. Please, defend my heart and fill me with Your supernatural trust, because You always have the final word!”. 🙏 Resting your identity on such a mighty Foundation is a guarantee of peace that no life tragedy can take away from you! ⚔️
