โ€œWisdom that comes down from above is first of all pure; it is also peaceable, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, and without hypocrisy. And the harvest of righteousness is sown in peace for those who make peace.โ€ ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐ŸŒฟ (James 3:17-18)

Recently we talked about active faith, and today the Word of God leads us deeper, showing that true wisdomโ€”this one that has its source in Godโ€”is not an abstract concept. It is not only there, but above all it acts! This is not idle reflection, but a dynamic way of living that reveals itself in specific attitudes and deeds. James emphasizes with power that the wisdom from above we recognize by its fruits, in contrast to earthly wisdom, which produces chaos and divisions. ๐ŸŒณโœจ

The author of the Letter presents to us the characteristics of divine wisdom, which are at the same time a call to active life:

1. Purity and Peace as the Foundation of Action: Wisdom from above is pureโ€”free from selfishness and hidden motivesโ€”and also peaceable. This means that our actions, if they come from this wisdom, will always aim at unity, reconciliation, and transparency. There is no room here for intrigues or covert plans. If you sow peace, then it is from Godโ€™s wisdom! ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ”

2. Kindliness and Openness to Arguments in Practice: To be kind is not only to think well, but to actively show goodness in words and gestures. Openness to arguments is readiness to listen, to learn, and, if necessary, to change oneโ€™s perspective. Godโ€™s wisdom is not stubborn, but humble and flexible in the pursuit of truth and justice. Are your heart and mind open to others? ๐Ÿ‘‚๐Ÿค

3. Mercy and Good Fruits as the Goal: โ€œFull of mercy and good fruitsโ€โ€”this is the heart of all Godโ€™s wisdom. Mercy is active compassionate concern, and good fruits are tangible results of our faith: helping those in need, supporting, building, healing relationships. Godโ€™s wisdom always leads to actions that bring blessing. Without acts of mercy, our wisdom is empty. โค๏ธ๐ŸŽ

4. Unity and Sincerity as Testimony: Wisdom from above is not causing divisions and is without hypocrisy. This means that true Godโ€™s wisdom unites people, breaks down barriers, and is always authentic. It does not pretend, does not put on masks, but is transparent in its intentions and actions. Does your presence build unity and stay free from falseness? ๐Ÿคฒ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Reflection for today: Do your everyday decisions and interactions reflect the characteristics of the wisdom that comes from above? ๐Ÿค” Do you actively make peace, show mercy, and bring good fruits into your surroundings? Remember that Godโ€™s wisdom is not theory, but a life practice that transforms the world. Today, instead of waiting for others to start acting, ask yourself: How can I today, with wisdom from above, actively serve, build, and spread justice in peace? ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ™

If you believe that Godโ€™s wisdom shows itself in deedsโ€”write Amen! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’– Share in the comments how you plan to live actively the wisdom from above today! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘‡
