A warm welcome to everyone. Today’s topic, as you have probably noticed, concerns an extremely interesting issue: China, the USA, and Israel in the context of biblical prophecies. Together we will consider who will really rule the world according to the biblical perspective. The contemporary geopolitical scene resembles a theater full of tensions and rivalry between great powers. People who do not know biblical prophecies often think that anything can happen and nothing is settled. Meanwhile, many issues have already been foretold by the Bible, and actual events are increasingly fitting into this ancient scenario, even if it once seemed impossible.

From my own experience, I remember how thirteen years ago I came to understand that the “beast” from the Book of Revelation is Israel, and that figures such as Gog of Magog, the King of the North, or the Little Horn also refer to this state – a topic we will examine together. At that time, many considered it absurd – how could such a small state rule the world? Today, however, we see with our own eyes how enormous an influence Israel is gaining. There is a saying that “the tail wags the dog” – in this metaphor the dog is the United States, and the tail is Israel, which is exerting an increasingly clear influence on American policy. Even politicians who know the Bible see that Israel is able to subordinate leaders in many countries to itself, and where this is impossible, it does not hesitate to influence the fate of those states in a destructive way. It used to be said that in ten years Israel would no longer exist. Meanwhile, more than ten years have passed, and Israel is growing in power and, according to biblical prophecies, is to become the greatest world power.

What is currently happening in the Middle East raises many questions. To us it may seem like a distant matter, although the war in Ukraine is already much closer. So we can realistically wonder whether an armed conflict might affect us as well – we cannot completely rule that out. However, the Bible does not focus on the lands of europe – the main point of reference is the promised land, Israel. It is there that most of the described events take place, and these very territories are the main arena of biblical prophecies concerning the end times. And indeed, that is where the most is happening today.

Until recently, when we spoke of states aspiring to rule the world, we pointed to England and the United States, describing their power as “Anglo-American”. Earlier it was also Russia, and before that Germany. Today Germany and Russia are ceasing to count in this game; the world’s attention is now focused on China and, perhaps surprisingly, increasingly on Israel. The Book of Revelation asks expressively: “Who is like the Beast, and who can wage war against it?” Revelation 13:4. Today we will try to answer what biblical prophecies say about the USA, China, and Israel. Of course, they devote the most attention to Israel, but let us begin with the United States.

The USA appears in the Bible as the “seventh head of the beast”. The beast, as I have already mentioned, symbolizes Israel, while the heads signify changing world powers. The seventh head is precisely the present power; there were others before. The beast, however, does not change – it is always about political Israel, not the spiritual, Godly one. The head of this beast is not God or the Messiah, but a political creation subject to satan’s influence – if only because satan in the Gospel offers authority over the earthly kingdoms to Christ. Thus, when God decided to destroy the Kingdom of Judah, by means of the sixth head, that is Rome, satan decided to rebuild it on his own terms, using political rulers and presenting them as the “chosen nation”, although the true rebuilding of the kingdom according to the prophecies will only be possible with the coming of the Messiah.

It is worth explaining here the concept of “antichrist” – it does not mean someone openly hostile, but rather an imitation, a substitution, something, which pretends to be the true Christ. On the screen you can see the definitions of the word “antichrist”, as well as the word “anti” itself. Check it for yourselves as well. Similarly, the state of Israel was established in place of the true Kingdom of God, practicing politics under the cover of religion. The paradox is that today’s Israel, although it often defines itself as a secular or even atheistic state, does not give up appealing to God’s laws and prophecies, claiming that its existence and power are the fulfillment of biblical predictions. Many religious groups, using prophecies, interpret them in such a way as to convince people that present-day Israel still enjoys God’s special care – which, however, has no biblical justification.

Returning to the USA – where do we see them in the Bible? In Revelation 17:9-10 we read “In this case a sharp mind is needed; the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman has seated herself. There are seven kings, among the seven five have already fallen, one is currently ruling, and another has not yet come, and when he comes he will remain only a short time.” This last power is precisely the Anglo-American hegemony. Why speak of Anglo-American? In the symbolism of the statue from the Book of Daniel, two legs appear – signifying the division of the Roman Empire into a northern part (Rome) and a southern part (Byzantium). After the fall of Byzantium, the Turks took over its legacy, and the title “Emperor of Rome” was adopted by the sultan. In turn, in the north the continuator was the German Reich, and the Turks and Germans during World War I and World War II were allies, continuing, in a sense, the history of the sixth head of the beast. After the fall of this power, the seventh arose – the United States. Until World War I, Palestine was under Turkish rule, later the USA became the dominant force as the protector and “head” of Israel.

Revelation 13:3 indicates: “And I saw one of her heads as if mortally wounded, and her mortal wound was healed. And the whole earth followed the Beast in amazement”. The healing of this wound means the rebirth of Israel as a state, at first small and dependent on its head – that is, the USA. The second role of the States is to be a tool in the hands of Babylon the Great – the great harlot who sits on the head of the USA. This is no secret – countless publications have been written about the influential Jewish lobby in America. Despite their small numbers, Israelis have enormous political and economic influence.

In Revelation 17:1-5 we read about the judgment of the great harlot sitting over many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication. This is a power that not only betrayed God, but also formed an alliance with political powers and many spirits. Already the Old Testament prophets called Israel’s religious leaders a harlot, and Jerusalem, built on seven hills, was her symbolic seat. The harlot betrayed God, committing fornication both political and spiritual. She is the mother of other harlots, that is, religions derived from the same sources, yet apostate toward the true God.

And even in the case of new branches of Christianity, it can be observed that – like Judaism – they have gone in the direction of false teachings, cults, and idolatry, often entering into arrangements with politicians. Despite this, “she” remains the mother of all these denominations, which is extremely interesting. This institution did not lose influence at any stage of history. There has always been some “state” also in the 20 century, and since then her power has been steadily growing. However, the prophecies indicate that the power of the USA will last relatively briefly. Do you remember – I think it was the year 1710 – when this force was supposed to be revealed, but it will also quickly pass away.

Of course, “briefly”, this is compared, for example, with the 6th power, which lasted about 2000 years (although it was not a unified Roman power, but rather the evolution of successive forms of rule). The transformations took place gradually, with one form passing into another. Interestingly, Rome was never formally defeated by a foreign army; its fall was a process of slow change. At one point, the center of power was even in Germany. Hence Germany adopted the name “Reich”, which meant a continuation of the Roman Empire – something that can, in fact, be seen in the symbolism of that era. However, this ended with World War I, and attempts to rebuild the former power failed. World War II ultimately confirmed that Germany had lost its status as a global power, while a new leader emerged in its place – the Anglo-American power: the United States as a military force, and Great Britain as the center of finance. From that moment on, they began to dominate world politics.

Today, although the USA is still the greatest power, we notice clear symptoms of a loss of influence. This concerns several areas. For example, Russia – once regarded as a dangerous superpower – has lost considerable standing in the eyes of the world after its failed invasion of Ukraine. It turned out that Russia’s capabilities had been overestimated – it cannot even cope with a much weaker opponent, although it officially claims that it is conducting operations “casually”. As a result, no one any longer seriously considers Russia a candidate for global hegemony. Similarly, America’s position is weakening – not only after its withdrawal from Vietnam, but also after its recent, humiliating retreat from Afghanistan. Despite the fact that the USA still behaved like a global hegemon, a series of failures, such as the unsuccessful confrontation with Iran, testifies to its weakening position. The world sees this and begins to wonder: is America really still that powerful? Questions are being asked more and more often – or perhaps China?

China is indeed presented as the USA’s main rival in the struggle for global dominance. Its significance centers on control over raw materials and influence on the situation in the Middle East. Every crisis in the Strait of Hormuz directly harms China’s interests, forcing the Americans to ask it for support. China, like Russia or France, has aspirations for a new world order, but none of these countries wants to acknowledge another’s superiority – each wants to lead. That is why the idea of a single world government is not very realistic, because states compete for power and none wants to submit to others.

But are China actually that dangerous? In reality, like Russia, they are a power mainly “on paper”, with no victories in major armed conflicts to their name. Their military actions have so far been limited to border disputes with India, and even toward small Taiwan they behave very cautiously, mainly out of fear of the USA’s reaction. China’s strength comes primarily from the size of its population and its wealth, which allows it to buy modern weapons, but – as the example of Saudi Arabia, incapable of defeating Yemen, shows – wealth does not guarantee military effectiveness. Today, those who can save human lives and use new technologies win, as the Ukrainians have proven, among others.

As a result, it is difficult to clearly identify the true hegemon. Yes, the USA still dominates the oceans thanks to its advantage in aviation and the navy, but is it really able today to win a serious conflict – for example, with Iran? Its actions so far contradict this. It can also be said with a high degree of probability that China’s strength is often overestimated – which, incidentally, is suggested by the lack of clear references to that country in biblical prophecies. Therefore, China should not be assigned a key role in the final events, especially since it apparently prefers trade over waging wars. There is one passage in the Bible (Book of Daniel 11:44-45) that some interpret as a possible reference to China – mainly because of its geographical location. It speaks of reports “from the east and from the north” that will alarm the ruler of Israel (the King of the North) and provoke him into war.

If we assume that Russia could be from the north, and Iran from the east, then China is located somewhere between them. Some believe that perhaps China could then send an army against Israel, but these are only speculations – in biblical times, the very concept of China was not even known, and India was the edge of the known world. Today, looking at a map, it is easy to fall under the illusion that it could be China, but that is only a modern interpretation.

Moving on to Israel, it is worth noting that this country invokes its alleged descent from the “chosen nation” and on that basis lays claim to certain lands. This topic is very broad, so today we will focus only on the key issue: Israelis often invoke a verse about the promise given to Abraham that he would receive the land “from the Nile to the Euphrates”. However, let us look at what truly follows from these biblical records. In Genesis 15:18-21 we read “On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying: To your offspring I give this land, from the River of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, together with the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites and the Jebusites”. Thus these lands were promised to all of Abraham’s descendants, not only to Isaac. For Abraham had not only Isaac and Ishmael (from whom the Arabs descend), but also – after Sarah’s death – six more sons. In total Abraham had eight sons, and so the promise concerning the land was much broader than is commonly believed.

And indeed, Abraham’s sons received the promised land as their possession. Part of it belongs today to the Arab world – this was fulfilled. However, other promises given to Israel – described precisely in terms of borders, for example that Lebanon would belong to Israel – were not fulfilled. These promises were canceled, although they were originally recorded in the books of Moses. After that comes the Book of Joshua, which describes that it was Joshua who was to carry out these plans, but ultimately they could not be fulfilled. Then comes the Book of Judges, where we read that God changed His decision.

Let us look at Judges 2:20-23: “So the anger of the Lord burned against Israel. And He said: ‘Because this people has transgressed the covenant that I made with their ancestors, and because they have not obeyed My voice, I also will no longer drive out from before them any of the nations – which Joshua left when he died – in order to test the Israelites and see whether they will walk in the ways of the Lord, as their ancestors walked’. So the Lord left those nations, not driving them out quickly nor handing them over into Joshua’s hands”.This happened in order to test Israel – whether they would walk in the way of the Lord as their fathers did. So the Lord left those nations, not driving them out quickly and not handing them over into Joshua’s hands.

Thus we see that although God first promised to hand over the land, He set a condition: He was to bless them if they proved faithful to Him and gradually drive out the remaining peoples. However, when Israel turned away from God, and the agreement – the covenant – was broken by them, God withdrew His blessing. Covenants are sacred – if the people were faithful, they experienced blessing, if not – they were to meet with a curse. Because Israel did not keep the conditions, God did not grant them the land in full; historically we know that they never reached a level of faithfulness satisfactory to God and therefore did not receive the entire territory. God proved faithful to His announcements, but Israel did not remain faithful.

At present, we can say that Satan works in the opposite way – trying to reactivate the nation that God rejected, taking it in and claiming that God’s promises are now being fulfilled. However, these promises were invalidated by Israel’s unfaithfulness – God remained faithful, but the people did not.

Another matter concerns the claim that Israel is to become the greatest power on earth – but not independently. Many ask how it is possible that such a small state could dominate the world? Well, Israel does not act alone – its power is based on cooperation with others. In Revelation 17:11-13, we read: “And the Beast that was and is not, he is also the eighth, and is of the seven and is going to destruction. And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received royal power, but they will receive authority as kings for one hour together with the Beast. These have one purpose,”and they give their power and authority to the Beast”.

Israel, identified here with the “beast”, had external rulers over it – heads, that is, world powers. Now, however, the beast becomes the eighth power, the successor to the United States (the seventh power), co-ruling with ten other kings. Thus a kind of global coalition arises, which gives its authority to Israel.

We can already see certain legal actions aimed at making Israel privileged in the United States. There are regulations linking the armies of both countries, and this may lead to a situation in which the USA becomes one of the “ten kings”, giving its authority to Israel or even being its military tool.

There is also a rivalry here with the so-called Great Harlot – symbolizing financial power, corporations, the City of London. The Great Harlot has so far controlled politics, but Israel seeks to take over its power and influence. The Bible says that the beast hates the Great Harlot and will contribute to her downfall, trying to take over her role and method of rule, although it does so much more brutally.

According to the prophecies, Israel will become the eighth, greatest world power. For it is the one that will create the “image of the beast”, and whoever does not worship it will be persecuted. Israel is to be the one that persecutes the followers of Christ, and those times are yet to come.

The second important issue is the prophecies about the “little horn” from the Book of Daniel 7:8: “As I was considering the horns, behold, another little horn came up among them, and three of the first horns were uprooted before it. It had eyes like human eyes and a mouth that spoke great things.” The little horn – rising out of nowhere, like Israel, which did not exist before, and which is now pushing its way forward at the expense of others, e.g. Syria and Lebanon, taking territories from them. Earlier Israel took Jordan’s lands, but today Jordan is rather an ally, so no further reduction of its territory is expected. Lebanon and Syria, however, are indeed losing territory to Israel. In the future, according to the prophecies, Egypt will also be conquered.

The prophecies about the “little horn” are clearly being fulfilled in Israel – no other state has risen in such a short time and expanded its territory at the expense of others in a way visible before our eyes.

In the Book of Daniel 11:41-43, we read: “He will then enter the glorious land, and many will fall. Only these [countries] will escape his hand: Edom, Moab, and the chief part of the Ammonites. He will stretch out his hand against the countries: the land of Egypt will not escape. He will gain control of the treasures of gold and silver and all the precious things of Egypt; the Libyans and the Cushites will follow him.”

The prophecy foretells that Jordan – being today an ally of Israel – will avoid conquest, but Lebanon, Syria, and Egypt will be affected by Israel’s expansion, and the Libyans and Ethiopians will ally themselves with it. Then a threat will appear from the east and the north, Israel will set out to war, but when it pitches its tents between the seas and the Holy Mountain, its end will come – no one will help it.

This means that although Israel will create Greater Israel, this will be the beginning of its end, not a long-lasting rule, as Hitler once imagined it. The fulfillment of these prophecies is unfolding very quickly and is happening before our eyes.

The Bible speaks clearly of the coming end for the opponents of God, although it does not provide detailed descriptions. We know, however, that they will ultimately be destroyed by Christ. In the following part, further prophecies appear – this refers to the Little Horn, and then to Gog of Magog, as described in the Book of Ezekiel. Let us read a passage from chapter 38, verses 10-12: “Thus says the Lord God: On that day thoughts will arise in your heart, and you will devise an evil plan. You will say: I will go up against an unwalled land, I will move against peaceful people – where everyone lives securely, and there are no walls, bars, or gates – to plunder and loot, to lay your hand on ruins that have been inhabited again, and on a people gathered from the pagan nations, who think only of flocks and possessions, and who live in the center of the earth”.

Look, it is said that Gog of Magog will conceive a very evil plan – he will attack a defenseless population, one with no fortifications. This refers to the territory of Israel. When did something like this happen? In 1948, when Israel was resettled by people gathered from all over the world. Armed units were formed and fighting began, sometimes directed against almost defenseless inhabitants. Descriptions of those times are shocking – entire villages were sometimes destroyed, and residents were frightened into fleeing out of fear for their lives. The same mechanism of intimidation and forced flight, similar to what happened during the persecution of Poles in Ukraine, was intended to seize land and property. This policy has de facto continued to this day, although its beginnings go back precisely to 1948.

Unfortunately, false prophets and preachers today insist that Israel is still that defenseless state from the prophecies. But does any reasonable person really believe that modern Israel is defenseless and without fortifications? In reality, Israel honors the God of fortresses – that is another passage of prophecy. Israel has some of the most powerful fortifications in the world – huge walls, towers, closed defensive sectors. This state is one of the best armed in the world, and even women undergo military training and possess weapons. In the past, the inhabitants of this land were mostly shepherds or farmers, living modestly, but today the situation looks completely different. The prophecies began to be fulfilled precisely in the 20th century.

Let us read on – verses 16 and 17: “And you will advance against my people, Israel, like a cloud, to cover the land. At the end of days this will happen, then I will bring you into my land so that the pagan nations may know Me, when through you, Gog, I show my holiness before their eyes”. This may be misleading – “the people of Israel” – but let us remember that this title has been appropriated by today’s Israel, which is not the true people of God. This is the greatest deception of the end times. Further: “Thus says the Lord God: You are indeed the one of whom in former times I spoke through my servants, the prophets of Israel, who in those days foretold that I would bring you against them”. This prophecy indicates that a similar rebellion will also occur in the future.

It is worth recalling who Gog is. The Bible suggests that Gog was a descendant of Reuben – the firstborn son of Jacob (Israel), and therefore his descendants could lay claim to the rights of the firstborn. However, because of bad conduct, Reuben and his descendants were deprived of these rights, and the privileges were transferred to Judah. By analogy, Israel was also deprived of the right to the land and the blessings of God, because it was not worthy of these gifts – like Reuben. The place of the true Israel was taken by a new people – spiritual Israel made up of people from all nations who recognized the Messiah, Yeshu, as their true King. Christ, as the rightful ruler of Israel, called a new nation from all nations, choosing what was most precious. The old Israel was rejected, and the nation that exists on this land today is not the true one – it is rather a certain imitation, something like “Frankenstein”.

We already know the Little Horn, the King of the North, and also the coalition of ten states. Israel will not attain power by its own strength – authority will be handed to it by Satan, which is extremely important for understanding future events. All of Israel’s successes will be presented as God’s blessing, and fragments of prophecies will be falsely interpreted to support this narrative. At the same time, however, this passage remains: Revelation 13:2: “The beast which I saw was like a leopard, its feet – as if a bear’s, its mouth – as if the mouth of a lion. And the Dragon gave it his power, his throne, and great authority”. It is this beast that received a mortal wound, but was healed, and the whole earth admired the beast. Whoever bows down to this beast – acknowledges its authority – is in reality worshiping the dragon, that is, Satan, who leads Israel pretending to be God’s people. Satan always tries to appropriate what belongs to God.

The coalition of ten states will unite under the banner of the beast, unfortunately against Christ and his faithful followers. However, there is also a positive aspect – even what is evil, God can use in his plans. Revelation 17:16-17: “And the ten horns that you saw, and the Beast – these will hate the Harlot and will make her desolate and naked, and they will eat her flesh, and burn her with fire, for God put it into their hearts to carry out His purpose and to act with one purpose and to give their kingdom to the animal, until the words [teachings, prophecy] of God are fulfilled”. The Great Harlot, who brought so much evil to the world – through corporations, banking, pharmaceutical systems, and the pursuit of depopulation – will be destroyed by the beast, that is, by Israel’s system. Perhaps this will be necessary so that a new system can arise on the ruins of the old one. God will direct these events in such a way that His will is carried out, and only afterward will Christ destroy the beast itself. In the meantime, Israel will persecute the saints, that is, the true people of Christ, spiritual Israel, whose king is the Messiah.

Revelation 13:5-7: “It was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and it was given the ability to continue for forty-two months. Therefore it opened its mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, and the inhabitants of heaven. And it was given to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority was given to it over every tribe, and people and language, and nation”. Thus Israel will gain enormous authority and for a time will triumph even over the followers of Yeshu Christ. This will be a time of great trial – many people will begin to believe that it is Israel that is truly God’s beloved nation. In the face of persecution, they may want to compromise, seek comfort, convincing themselves that Israel really is God’s nation. But this will be a tremendous deception, a great test for every believer.

We also read about this time in the Book of Daniel: “He will speak words against the Most High and wear down the saints of the Most High, he will intend to change times and the Law, and [the saints] will be given into his hand until a time, times, and half a time”. We can expect attempts to abolish the Christian calendar, remove Christian holidays, and replace them with Jewish holidays, which points to a drive to completely change the order of the world.

We clearly see that both in the Book of Daniel and in the Book of Revelation, the same motif appears – the same events and symbols are being spoken of. In both cases there is the theme of the ten horns or ten kings, as well as the figure of the “little horn”, who will speak blasphemies. What we read in chapter 7 of the Book of Daniel, we also find in chapter 13 of the Book of Revelation, although there it appears as the “beast”, not as a horn, but as an animal. The symbolism is the same. We can look again at chapter 13 of Revelation to see how far this beast will go.

From verse 11 we read: “And I saw another animal [beast], coming up out of the earth; it had two horns like a lamb’s and spoke like a dragon. And it exercises all the authority of the first Beast before it, and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first Beast, whose mortal wound was healed. And it performs great signs, so that it even makes fire come down from heaven to the earth in the sight of people. And it deceives the inhabitants of the earth by the signs that it was allowed to perform before the beast, telling the inhabitants of the earth to make an image of the beast that received the blow of the sword and yet lived. And it was granted to give breath to the image of the Beast, so that the image of the Beast even spoke, and to cause all who would not worship the image of the Beast to be killed. And it causes all: small and great, rich and poor, free and slaves to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and that no one can buy or sell unless they have the mark – the name of the Beast or the number of its name. Here wisdom is needed. Whoever has understanding, let them calculate the number of the Beast: for it is the number of a human. And its number: six hundred sixty-six.”

As we can see, it is precisely Israel that is to be the organizer of this system – it will impose this obedience on people, force them into submission, and introduce the false prophet so that through miracles he may confirm the divine origin and blessing of the beast. We are aware of this – and this knowledge is worth passing on to others, but at the same time we must be watchful so that no one deceives us.

Ultimately, however, who will really rule the world? Although today’s Israel, identified here with the beast and supported by the world’s armies, will reach the height of its power and challenge Heaven itself, its triumph will be very brief. The ultimate, only rightful ruler of the world will be Christ named Yeshu. The culmination of human rule will occur on the Day of Armageddon. When the armies of the beast, the kings of the earth, gather in the territory of Israel – as described in the region of Armageddon – there will be direct intervention from heaven. The Book of Revelation 16:14 and 16 say: “And they are spirits performing signs – demons, which go out to the kings of the whole inhabited earth, to gather them for war on the great day of God the Almighty. (…) And they gathered them to the place called in Hebrew Har-Magedon”.

It is also worth considering whether this event will have a global dimension, or rather a symbolic one – because although God’s war, called Armageddon, is often seen as encompassing the whole earth, the biblical description focuses on a specific place. This still remains the subject of our research.

In the Book of Revelation 19:11-21, we read further: “And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and the one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and fights. And His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems. He has a written name that no one knows except Him. And he is clothed with a cloak soaked in blood, and His name is called the Word of God. And the armies in heaven followed Him on white horses, clothed in white, pure fine linen. And from His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike the nations, and He will shepherd them with an iron rod, and He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. And He has on His cloak and on His thigh a name written: Ruler of rulers and Lord of lords”.

Then the angel calls all the birds of heaven to gather for the supper of the great God and devour the bodies of kings, commanders, mighty men, horses, and warriors. We see the gathered armies of the earth and their leaders to fight against Christ and His heavenly army. Ultimately, the beast and the false prophet, who performs miracles, are captured and thrown alive into the lake of fire, and the rest perish by the sword of the Son of God – the birds are filled with their bodies.

The Book of Revelation contains not only new prophecies, but also recalls those from the Old Testament that have not yet been fulfilled. It is worth looking at the Book of Ezekiel 39:4: “On the mountains of Israel you will fall, you and all your troops, and the peoples who are with you: to birds of prey of every kind and to the wild animals of the field I will give you as food”. Further, in verses 17-20, it calls the birds and animals: “Gather from every side to my sacrifice, which I want to prepare for you, a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel: eat flesh and drink blood! You will eat the flesh of heroes and drink the blood of the rulers of the earth…”. These images and analogies return in the Book of Revelation – both the horses, the riders, and the bodies of the mighty will be food for the animals. This is still ahead of us – we are still waiting for this vision to be fulfilled.

Returning to the Book of Revelation 20:7-10: “And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison. And he will go out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle, and their number will be like the sand of the sea.” The motif of Gog returns again – he symbolizes an attempt to usurp authority over the world. After the thousand-year reign of Christ, a new wave of rebellion will appear – a group of people claiming the right to rule. The rebels will surround “the camp of the saints and the beloved city”, but fire from heaven will destroy them, and the devil will be thrown into the lake of fire, where the beast and the false prophet already are.

The thousand-year reign of Christ will end with a rebellion, which will ultimately end in judgment, and after it a new era will begin – a new eon, described in chapter 21. “I saw a new heaven and a new earth, because the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. I saw the holy city — new Jerusalem. I saw it descending from heaven, from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband. I heard a powerful voice coming from the heavenly throne, calling out: This is the dwelling place of God among people, because He will dwell with them, and they will be peoples belonging to Him, and He will be the God who will be with them, because He is their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor despair, nor suffering anymore, because what was before has passed away. The One seated on the throne declared: “Behold, I make all things new”. And He said to me: “Write: These words are true and worthy of belief”.

When Christ comes to earth, He will become both our Ruler and God. His present name is Yeshu (Savior), but in this new time He will bear the name Immanuel (“God with us”), because He will dwell with people.

The mission of salvation will then be completed, and the new eon will consist in the direct presence of God among people. In the final reckoning – no earthly power, neither China, nor the USA, nor even more so the false Israel, will maintain power over the world. Their rule will be only temporary. All earthly powers are heading toward inevitable destruction, and eternal authority will belong to the One who has the rightful claim to it – the Son of God, Christ Yeshu. Today we can become citizens of His Kingdom – live as foreigners in this world, not identify with earthly governments, but await our King, the Messiah, who will take authority over the earth.
