“And a voice spoke to him again: ‘What God has cleansed, you must not call unclean again’.” ποΈ (Acts 10:15)
This verse from Peter’s vision is a breakthrough revelation of God, abolishing old divisions β not only regarding food but also people (gentiles)!
β¨ God says clearly: what He has cleansed (through Christ), we have no right to consider unclean. It is worth noting that today many people claim these words are only half-true and concern gentiles, but in the matter of food, they do not recognize these words and in this way refuse obedience to God β clinging to the literal laws of the Old Covenant, ignoring the grace of the New (Col 2:16-17).
π This is exactly how, religious divisions arise: everyone interprets even simple biblical messages for themselves, creating conflicts, sects, and barriers, instead of focusing on the truth and unity in Christ and the freedom He brought (Gal 5:1). God calls us to trust His word β let us not consider unclean what He has cleansed!
Reflection for today: Consider whether your interpretations of the Bible do not contradict the Word of God? π€ Do you recognize the freedom God has given, or do you cling to tradition? Ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom so that you read the Word in the context of grace, avoiding unnecessary divisions. π Remember, God’s cleansing is a gift β do not nullify it with your own opinion! β€οΈ
