“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against archons, against the usurpers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual evil from the heavens. Therefore take up the full armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” βοΈπ‘οΈ (Eph 6:12-13)
This passage from the Letter to the Ephesians is a powerful reminder from Paul about the nature of our struggle β it is not physical, with people (“flesh and blood”), but spiritual, with the forces of evil: archons (rulers of darkness), usurpers of this world, and spiritual evil from the heavens. π It is not about conflicts with other individuals, but a battle against temptations, deceptions, and the powers of darkness that try to weaken us. That is why it is crucial to “take up the full armor of God” β truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Eph 6:14-17) β so that we may withstand “in the evil day” and prevail! πͺ In todayβs world, full of spiritual attacks through media, temptations, or doubt, these words call for vigilance and equipping ourselves with Godβs power β only then will we endure and accomplish everything in His strength!
**Todayβs Reflection:** Consider whether you see the spiritual dimension in your conflicts β are you fighting against people, or against the forces of evil? π€ Do you put on the “armor of God” every day through prayer and the Word? Ask God for wisdom and strength to resist evil and endure in faith.
π Remember, the struggle is spiritual, but victory in Christ is certain β equip yourself and stand firm! π
