“For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do. And we desire each one of you to show the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” ⚖️💪 (Heb 6:10-12)

This passage is a powerful reminder of the principle of Divine reciprocity – although faith is a gift, our response to it is of immense importance! God not only bestows grace but also justly expects an active attitude from us so that we may fully inherit His promises. It’s like building: we get the tools (grace), but it’s up to us whether we use them to erect a lasting work. 🏗️✨

The author of the Letter to the Hebrews shows us three key pillars on which our ability to “deserve” God’s favor rests:

1. Active Work and Love: Verse 10 clearly states that God “will not forget your work and your efforts in showing love.” These are not random gestures, but specific actions – supporting and serving others in His name – which are proof of our true intention to God. Our sacrificial love and work are the foundation for God to justly continue to bless us. There is no talk of inactivity here! ❤️🛠️

2. Constant Diligence: “And we desire each one of you to show the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end.” This is a call for continuous effort and commitment. Grace is not static; it requires our constant diligence and cultivation. Only in this way can we maintain and develop our hope, showing that we truly care about God’s promise. This is proof that we respond to grace with action! 🔥🚀

3. Faith and Patience as the Path to Inheritance: “So that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Here, faith and patience are presented as key virtues that we must consciously develop. It is not enough just to “have” faith; it must be activated and lived persistently, enduring trials. It is through this effort and perseverance that we become worthy of “inheriting the promises,” following in the footsteps of those who have shown similar determination. Not to become “sluggish” is to actively work on your attitude! ⏳🌟

Reflection for today: How is your “work” and “diligence” in service and love manifested today? 🤔 Do you actively “deserve” God’s promises through your faith and patience, or do you fall into “sluggishness”? Remember that God is just and will appreciate your genuine efforts. Today, instead of expecting everything to come on its own, ask yourself: what can I do to show God that with my faith and actions I deserve His continued grace? 💖🙏

If you believe that your actions matter in God’s eyes – write Amen! 🙏💖 Share in the comments how you intend to actively “deserve” God’s favor today! 😊👇

Stay a little longer and listen to the final song 🙂
