βTake care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called βtoday,β that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.β β οΈ (Heb 3:12-13)
This fragment is a warning against an “evil heart of unbelief” that leads to apostasy from the living God β sin deceives and hardens hearts, as with the Israelites in the desert (Heb 3:7-11). But there is an antidote: encourage one another “every day,” as long as “today” lasts β daily support in community protects against hardness! β¨ In today’s world of isolation and temptation, these words call for active care: let us build each other up in faith so that no one falls away. This is not a one-time act, but a daily practice β encouragement saves hearts!
Reflection for today: Consider whether there is “unbelief” or hardness in your heart? π€ Whom will you encourage in faith today? Ask God for a good heart and community β encouragement is a weapon against sin! π Remember, “today” is an opportunity β do not waste it, build others and yourself! β€οΈ
Glory to Yeshu! πβ€οΈ
