“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are united with Yeshu the Anointed! Because the law of the Spirit of Life in Yeshu has set you free from the principle of sin and death.” πποΈ (Romans 8:1-2)
Let’s look at the first words of this powerful passage: “there is no condemnation for those who are united with the Anointed One!” This is a promise that speaks to the very depth of our soul. But ask yourself honestly: do you truly feel united with Christ? This is not about a superficial profession of faith, or merely belonging to a community. True union with Yeshu manifests itself in a life that fully embodies His teachings, His spirit, and His love. Let’s admit it openly: this is not an easy task.
For centuries, humanity struggled with the Law β that given to the nation of Israel, which, although holy and from God Himself, proved impossible for man to fully fulfill. Human nature, tainted by sin and marked by “hardness of heart,” was unable to meet its demands. This Law, external to us, instead of liberating us, only revealed sinfulness and led to condemnation. It was the “law of sin and death” that imprisoned us.
But in Yeshu Christ, a radical change took place! He not only perfectly fulfilled every Law, but above all, on the cross, through His sacrifice, He once and for all wiped away our spiritual debt, invalidating all the Law’s accusations against us! His death and resurrection became an act of liberation, removing the basis for condemnation.
Now, in this new covenant, union with Yeshu brings us something much deeper and more transformative: the Law of the Spirit of Life! This is not another list of external commands. According to prophetic vision, this Law of the Divine will itself has been written directly in our hearts! Meaning our conscience has become the arbiter of the law. It reveals to us what is good and just, but it is up to you whether you want to live in accordance with God’s will.
Reflection for today π
Is your heart open to this inner transformation? Do you allow the Law of the Spirit, which has been written in your heart, to guide your decisions, desires, and actions? Remember, true union with Yeshu means living in the power of His Spirit, who not only removes condemnation but also actively leads you to the fullness of life. βοΈ
