“That according to the abundance of His glory He would grant you power and through His Breath strengthen your inner man.” πͺ (Eph 3:16)
This verse from the Letter to the Ephesians is part of Paul’s prayer for believers β a request that God, in His infinite glory, would grant us power! β¨ The key here is the “Breath” (Holy Spirit), which strengthens the “inner man” β our spirit, and consequently our soul, which is ourselves.
Let us emphasize: the Breath, that is the Spirit of God, is able to strengthen a person serving God, one who submits to His will and trusts Him. ποΈ This is not an external force, but a deep, internal transformation β the Spirit fills us with courage, wisdom, perseverance, and faith when we give Him control (Rom 8:11). By trusting God and serving Him, we open ourselves to this abundant power, which helps overcome weaknesses, temptations, and life’s challenges. π In today’s world, where it is easy to burn out, these words remind us that true strength comes not from us, but from the Spirit, who acts in those who submit to Him!
**Reflection for today:** Consider whether you submit to God’s will and trust Him in everyday life? π€ Do you ask God for the Holy Spirit and the strengthening of your “inner man”? Ask God for this Breath, so that you may serve Him with power and joy. π Remember, when you trust and submit, the Spirit makes you invincible! β€οΈ
