“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” π (2 Cor 9:7-8)
This passage from 2 Corinthians is a beautiful encouragement from Paul toward generous, joyful givingβnot out of obligation or sadness, but from a heart full of gratitude! β¨ God loves a “cheerful giver” because such an attitude reflects trust in Him and the joy of sharing blessings. And the promise is incredible: He will generously bestow grace, providing sufficiency and the means for every good workβit is the cycle of God’s economy, where giving multiplies in His hands (Luke 6:38). In today’s world, where we often hoard for ourselves, these words remind us that true joy flows from generosityβgive with a smile, and God will multiply! ππ
**Reflection for today:** Think about whether your giving (of time, resources, love) is joyful or forced? π€ Do you trust that God will provide for you abundantly so that you can serve others? Ask Him for a heart full of joyβHe will make you “sufficient” for every good work! π Remember, joyful giving is an investment in eternityβGod loves and rewards! β€οΈπ
