โ€œWho can find a virtuous woman? Her value surpasses pearls.โ€ (Proverbs 31:10) ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Today, think about Godโ€™s view of a woman, her immeasurable value, and the calling that, as Scripture points out, was established in the Divine hierarchy.

From the beginning of creation, Scripture establishes an order. In the Book of Genesis 2:18 we read: โ€œThen the LORD God said: โ€˜It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make a helper suitable for him.โ€™โ€ The woman was created as the perfect complement for the man, as his โ€œhelper suitable for him,โ€ who is to support him and cooperate with him in the established order. This relationship leads to unity, about which Genesis 2:24 says: โ€œTherefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.โ€ This unity also includes intimate marital union, which is part of Godโ€™s plan for marriage, according to His intention.

The apostle Paul, addressing matters of the relationship between women and men, presents Godโ€™s hierarchy clearly. In 1 Corinthians 7:4 he emphasizes reciprocity in the bodily sphere in marriage: โ€œThe wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband; likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife.โ€ However, this takes place in the context of a broader order. Paul clearly teaches about submission in marriage, and 1 Peter (3:5โ€“6) provides Sarah as an example of obedience to Abraham, calling him โ€œlord,โ€ which is a pattern of biblical submission of a wife to her husband. Paul also calls for order in relationships between the Church and the family, and his teaching in the Epistles emphasizes this distinction of roles. It is worth noting that in the context of the times in which we live, when many men decide on living alone, Yeshu says: โ€œIf such is the situation of a man with a woman, then it is not worth marrying.โ€ (Matthew 19:10). Notice that the โ€œcardโ€ which men used to use to subordinate women has been taken away, which is used by Satan to turn Godโ€™s harmony upside down. Moreover, in 1 Corinthians 7, Paul also notes that for some, being single can be a path to devoting oneself more fully to the Lord, without the worries connected with marriageโ€”which is also a gift from God.

Feminist approach as a reversal of Godโ€™s commands โ€“ Satanโ€™s plan

Contemporary movements such as feminism are seen as movements which, under the guise of striving for equality, in reality undermine the biblical roles and values assigned to women and men in marriage and family, rejecting the hierarchy established by God. Rejecting biblical roles, mutual submission in love, and the natural order, is an element of Satanโ€™s plan of depravity and breaking apart divine harmony, leading to confusion and sufferingโ€”not only for women, but also for men. To be clear: women who do not cooperate with their husband do not achieve happiness and fulfillment, because they act against the instruction given by the Creator to human beings.

Woman, the road God created for you does not humiliate you! On the contraryโ€”it fulfills you and enriches you. Your value, as Proverbs says, may surpass pearls! You are wise, capable, and irreplaceable in Godโ€™s plan. Accepting Godโ€™s purpose for your life is finding true strength, fulfillment, and joy. It is a path that makes your life not only better for you yourself, but also a blessing for your husband, children, and the entire family. By fulfilling your calling from Godโ€™s perspective, you become a supportโ€”not only for your husband, but for the whole familyโ€”bringing peace and harmony.
